Summer Literacy Intensives

July 6 – August 28 | 8 Weeks of Targeted Instruction

Summer is the perfect time to strengthen literacy skills, build confidence, and prevent summer learning loss. Our Summer Intensives provide structured, research-aligned instruction designed to help students make real progress before the new school year begins.

Led by highly trained literacy specialists, these small-group sessions focus on the foundational skills students need for long-term reading and writing success.

Early Learners Intensive (Ages 5–7)

$900 M-W-F 9:00 - 11:30

A developmentally appropriate program designed to build early literacy foundations while supporting motor development and language growth.

Students will focus on:
• phonological and phonemic awareness
• early phonics and decoding
• handwriting and fine motor development
• vocabulary and language development
• confidence with early reading routines

This program is ideal for young learners who are just beginning their reading journey or who benefit from extra support building strong foundations.

Elementary Literacy Intensive (Ages 7–10)

$1,400 M-Th 9:00 - 12:00

This program strengthens core literacy skills to help students become more accurate, fluent, and confident readers and writers.

Instruction focuses on:
• decoding and spelling patterns
• reading fluency
• vocabulary development
• reading comprehension strategies
• structured sentence and paragraph writing

Students receive explicit instruction aligned with the Science of Reading to help close gaps and prepare for the next school year.

Writers’ Workshop & Morphology (Ages 11–13)

$1,400  M-Th 9:00 - 12:00

Designed for older students ready to expand their writing and vocabulary skills through advanced literacy instruction.

Students will develop:
• morphology (prefixes, suffixes, and word structure)
• vocabulary and word analysis
• writing fluency and organization
• paragraph and multi-paragraph composition
• reading comprehension and text analysis

This program helps students strengthen academic writing while building the vocabulary and language skills needed for middle school success.

Small group instruction ensures individualized support and meaningful progress.
