Start Here: Reading Help in the Willamette Valley

If your child is struggling to read, you are not alone.

Many bright students struggle because they were not taught in a way that matches how the brain learns to read.

At Willamette Valley Dyslexia Center, we provide clear answers and structured solutions.

What Other Parents are Saying...

*****

"Hey I just wanted to share some great news and give a huge thanks to everyone at the dyslexia center, including my son’s tutor, Sasha, and to Lynn as well. I just wanted to post this to encourage other parents

My son entered as one of their older students, and was tutored through the dyslexia center for a couple years with great success thanks to the program. He is going to be graduating high school this year, and has been accepted into a university. I’m so thankful for all the support, love you guys, and we wouldn’t be celebrating all this success without your help. Thank you again"

"My kids have been going here for years and it has made a world of difference! In particular we have found the small groups to provide the individualized instruction with peer interaction to be the perfect combination for effective learning!"

"We knew my daughter was struggling with reading but we had no idea because no one would tell us just how much she was struggling. Thankfully we finally had someone willing to say I think something more is going on besides just being a little behind. We knew she had adhd but had no idea she was also struggling with dyslexia. Even before she got an official diagnosed we got her into tutoring right away. We started last December with willamette dyslexia center and in just a few months of tutoring she went up a full grade level in reading. My daughter is incredibly intelligent but feels stupid because of her struggles with reading and writing. We continued her tutoring through the summer. She was feeling stupid and got frustrated and said she couldn't do what they wanted. The tutor changed tactics and was able to over come my daughters frustration and built confidence in her. School just started and my daughter has always loved going to school but I think to see her friends. It's always been a struggle to get her out of bed and ready for school. This year she so far is waking up before her older brother and is ready right away eager to go to school. I asked her if she was excited and she said yes. I also asked her is she was feeling better about herself. She also said yes. In less than a year her confidence has gone up so much. As a parent who wants the best for her kid I couldn't be happier. It's brings tears of joy and I owe it to hard work of the tutors and the work my daughter is putting in. My kids are my world and it's clear and obviously that everyone that works here is passionate and cares deeply about every kid seeking help."
