At Willamette Valley Dyslexia Center, we recognize that many kids need support in literacy instruction, and that there are many reasons why you may be interested in an alternate option to our 1:1 model.

We are introducing a way to bring our community a sustainable option, that will give struggling readers the SAME opportunity to find confidence and success.  Our small groups kiddos are thriving.  Their data matched that our a traditional 1:1 model, and they are having FUN doing it.  Making friends, building words, gaining skills for life!

We believe we can change the world through literacy.

We also know that there isn't a one size fits all way to get this done.

Small Group tutoring

There are a lot of reasons why a small group is beneficial for a child and instruction.

1. It offers a similar aged peer support system.  Many of our kids feel emotional about their struggles, isolated, and unworthy.  A supportive group can make a big difference in their self-image.

2. Our 4:1 model allows our tutors to provide flexible, differentiated instruction to each child, retaining the feel and results of 1:1 tutoring.

3. We can provide more opportunities for practice.  Within this model, kids would attend M/W or T/Th sessions.

4. Cost Share allows us to offer our high-quality, results driven, instruction at a lower cost to you.  We can offer small groups priced at $300/ month.
